Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe releases Fasson PEHD TE, a facefilm with a tamper-evident device offered within the Fasson Specialty portfolio. The face film has the look and feel of matte white paper, but is actually a biaxially-oriented high-density PE film whose highly cavitated inner layers cause multiple fractures when manipulated. This causes delamination, providing visual evidence of tampering. The face film fractures only when a converted label is applied to a substrate, so there will be no damage prior to that. Fasson PEHD TE can be printed and converted by all conventional print processes: flexo, gravure, letterpress, litho, screen, hot foil stamping, and holographic foiling.
